The Recording Club – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Recording Club, located at 1660 9th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404. To ensure a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all guests, members, and staff, we ask that you read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. By signing or electronically submitting your acceptance, you acknowledge and consent to the terms below.

1. Recording & Media Consent

I understand that photography, video, or audio recording may occur on the premises of The Recording Club.
I grant The Recording Club and Tiny Room Studios the right and permission to use, reproduce, and publish any such recordings or images in which I may appear for purposes including, but not limited to, promotion, marketing, social media, internal archives, and advertising, without compensation or further consent.

2. Respect & Conduct

I agree to treat the Studio, its staff, members, guests, and property with respect at all times.

  • I will follow instructions given by Studio staff.

  • I understand that some sessions may be private, and I will honor any confidentiality notices or instructions provided.

  • Disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal and potential future denial of access.

3. Safety & Responsibility

I acknowledge that The Recording Club contains valuable, sensitive, and potentially dangerous equipment and infrastructure.

  • I agree to use reasonable care in the Studio and to avoid touching any equipment unless explicitly authorized.

  • I am responsible for any damage I cause, whether intentional or accidental.

  • I am solely responsible for my personal belongings. The Recording Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

  • I agree to report any safety hazards or incidents to staff immediately.

4. Participation in Recordings

If I am involved in a recording session as a performer, contributor, or attendee, I understand that all ownership rights to the content created remain with the Client and/or The Recording Club, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

5. Confidentiality

I understand that I may be exposed to unreleased music, private creative work, or sensitive business information while on premises.

I agree not to record, distribute, or disclose any such information without prior written consent from the involved parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Recording Club, Tiny Room Studios, their owners, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from or in connection with:

  • My visit to or use of the Studio;

  • Any personal injury, illness, theft, or property damage occurring on or off the premises;

  • My participation in any recordings or sessions;

  • My breach of any of these Terms.

I acknowledge that I enter and use the Studio at my own risk.

7. General Terms

  • The Recording Club reserves the right to refuse service or remove individuals at its discretion.

  • These Terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

  • California law governs these Terms and any disputes arising under them.

By submitting this form or entering the premises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms and Conditions.
